For the best Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (red or yellow for color)
- 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs at the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Add pineapple chunks and sliced bell pepper on top of the chicken.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low or high.
- Once done, shred the chicken and serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For added flavor, let the dish marinate in the sauce for a few hours before cooking.
- Garnish with additional green onions before serving.
