- 8 ounces of linguine or fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and reserve a cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté garlic, then add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Pour in heavy cream and diced tomatoes, add Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add drained pasta to the skillet, toss with sauce, and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with parsley and Parmesan cheese.

- Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
