- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking for another 3-4 minutes, then mix in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble each tortilla with the beef mixture and mozzarella cheese, rolling tightly and placing seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour pizza sauce over the rolled tortillas and sprinkle remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like olives or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- These can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
