Deliciously creamy Parmesan scalloped potatoes, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl and whisk.
  3. Layer sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, overlapping slightly.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.
  5. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
