Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a plate.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add meatballs, and cook until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes).
  4. Remove meatballs, sauté sliced mushrooms in the same skillet for 5-6 minutes, then add heavy cream and beef broth.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for 10 minutes.
