- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a plate.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, add meatballs, and cook until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes).
- Remove meatballs, sauté sliced mushrooms in the same skillet for 5-6 minutes, then add heavy cream and beef broth.
- Return meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for 10 minutes.

- For added flavor, try using fresh herbs.
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread for a complete meal.
