- 4 large russet potatoes

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- ¼ cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes into thin fries; soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and dry the fries, then toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), spread fries on a baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over fries and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Serve hot with sour cream, hot sauce, and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust spices to taste; add more cayenne for extra heat or skip the hot sauce for milder fries.
