Instructions
- Slice zucchini thinly, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt in a bowl.
- Layer marinara sauce, zucchini, meat mixture, and cheese mixture in a baking dish, finishing with mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
