Delicious and healthy chocolate brownies made with almond flour and cocoa powder.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Combine wet and dry mixtures, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, then cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Cut into squares and enjoy!
