Ingredients

  • 1 pound of flank steak
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • ½ cup of teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak against the grain, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix steak with teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger; marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a griddle, sauté broccoli for 5 minutes.
  4. Push broccoli aside, add remaining olive oil, and cook marinated steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Combine steak and broccoli, stir for 1 minute, and serve hot with optional garnishes.
