- 4 slices of thick bread (sourdough or brioche work wonderfully)
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
- 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, honey, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on one side of each bread slice, then layer cheddar cheese and blueberries before topping with another slice.
- Melt butter in a skillet and toast each sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
Notes
- Use a combination of sourdough and brioche for the best flavor.
- Feel free to add more or less honey based on your sweetness preference.
