- 8 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cheesecake filling on bread, add strawberries, and make sandwiches.
- Whisk eggs and milk together in a separate bowl.
- Dip sandwiches in egg mixture and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry sandwiches in heated oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and cool before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar.
