Delicious and easy-to-make chicken tostadas topped with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded chicken with taco seasoning in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat refried beans in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  3. Spread warm beans on each tostada shell, then add seasoned chicken on top.
  4. Pile on shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and avocado slices.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and add a dollop of sour cream; drizzle with hot sauce if desired.
