  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)
  • 3 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Layer chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. Mix bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are covered.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Remove chicken, shred it with forks, and return to the crockpot.
  6. Mix shredded chicken with sauce and garnish with green onions before serving.
