- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (Panko works best)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- For the Sriracha mayo:
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
Instructions
- Cut the fish into stick-shaped pieces, about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
- Set up a breading station with flour, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
- Season the flour with salt and pepper.
- Coat each piece of fish in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the fish sticks for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain fried fish sticks on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl to make the Sriracha mayo.
- Serve the fish sticks hot with the Sriracha mayo on the side.
