Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work best)
- 1 package (5.2 ounces) of Boursin cheese (garlic and herb flavor recommended)
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Gruyère)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes thinly (about 1/8 inch thick).
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Boursin cheese until smooth.
- In a greased baking dish, layer potatoes and cream mixture, repeating until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Optionally garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
