- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or your favorite type)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese (or any cheese you love)
- 4 slices of crispy bacon
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1 cup of fresh lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
- Butter for grilling
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; set aside.
- Lay two slices of bread flat, add cheese, bacon, tomato, and lettuce, then top with another slice of cheese and bread.
- Butter the outside of both slices of bread.
- Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove, cool for a minute, slice, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
