A delicious BLT Grilled Cheese Sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough or your favorite type)
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese (or any cheese you love)
  • 4 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup of fresh lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
  • Butter for grilling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; set aside.
  2. Lay two slices of bread flat, add cheese, bacon, tomato, and lettuce, then top with another slice of cheese and bread.
  3. Butter the outside of both slices of bread.
  4. Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove, cool for a minute, slice, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
