A delicious Beef Lo Mein with Vegetables that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli are great choices)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water and cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. Season beef with salt and pepper, stir-fry in a skillet with vegetable oil until browned, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic and mixed vegetables until tender but crisp.
  4. Add beef, lo mein noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes or sauce.
  • Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
