- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli are great choices)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water and cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Season beef with salt and pepper, stir-fry in a skillet with vegetable oil until browned, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic and mixed vegetables until tender but crisp.
- Add beef, lo mein noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chili flakes or sauce.
- Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
