Deliciously fudgy avocado brownies that are rich in flavor and healthier than traditional recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour or almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the avocado, remove the pit, and mash the flesh in a mixing bowl.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Mix the mashed avocado, melted chocolate, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack, cut into squares, and enjoy.
