- 4 ounces of cream cheese
- 1 cup of pasta water
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (like basil or parsley)
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions (about 6 minutes).
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add cream cheese to the pan, stirring until melted. Add pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of water, and mix it with the creamy sauce. Add reserved water gradually if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
